It all began as a cottage industry – or these days – ‘an above the garage business’, during the quiet turmoil of 2020. In an era of limited social gatherings and travel, when seeing loved ones and enjoying big celebrations was off the cards, our memories of special people, places and experiences, had to keep us going… until we could really live them once more.
Two people had a great idea, tonnes of motivation and time on their hands… Lady Rose London came to fruition.
THE FOUNDERS
Daniel indulged a mild obsession with scents and fragrances and Roslyn had strong practical skills and an ability to make high quality products. Both enjoyed the simple pleasure of a beautiful candle or reed diffuser filling a room with an enchanting scent. They also both understood that our sense of smell was like untapped magic in this new reality.
As powerful stimuli with strong associations, scents can evoke the memory of treasured people, occasions and locations. This mother and son duo made the perfect partnership as they sought to create unique fragrance combinations that could arouse wonderful memories.
A MULTI-GENERATIONAL VENTURE
As a multi-generational venture, Lady Rose is a true family business, and it is their shared belief in the importance of family ties and values that ensures their business collaboration works so well.
Having both worked in Mayfair, the heart of luxury and prestige, Daniel and Roslyn share an appreciation for high quality products and took pride in creating the regimented quality control that ensures they provide their customers with the very best in luxury candles and reed diffusers.
